May al-Dabbagh
Dr. May Al-Dabbagh is a research fellow at the Dubai School of Government in the area of gender and public policy. Her research interests include cross-cultural and social/organizational psychology; theory and method in assessing the relationship between the self and context; cultural and gender differences in leadership, decision making, and job related outcomes.
In 2004, she earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Oxford for her doctoral thesis entitled “Working Women in Saudi Arabia: A Study of Stress and Well-Being.” Her interdisciplinary thesis examined the psychological dynamics of work-related stress among women in the developing context of Saudi society. Dr. Al-Dabbagh spent one year as a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Oxford. She earned her B.A. degree from Harvard University, where she graduated in 1999 magna cum laude in Psychology.
