Caroline Moser
Dr. Caroline Moser is a Nonresident Senior Fellow in the Global Economy and Development Program at The Brookings Institution and a senior research associate at the Overseas Development Institute, London. Previously she was a Lead Specialist for Social Development in Latin America at the World Bank, and prior to that a lecturer at the London School of Economics. She is currently undertaking a longitudinal research project on ‘Intergenerational Asset Accumulation and Poverty Reduction’. Recent relevant publications include Reducing Global Poverty: the Case for Asset Accumulation (2007); ‘Latin American Urban Violence as a Development Concern: Towards a Framework for Violence Reduction’ in World Development (2006); Encounters with Violence in Latin America: Urban poor perceptions from Colombia and Guatemala (2004), ‘Urban Violence and Insecurity: an Introductory Roadmap’ in Environment and Urbanization (2004), Rights, Power and Poverty Reduction (2004), and Victims, Perpetrators or Actors?
