Aziz Ajbilou

Dr. Aziz Ajbilou is the director of studies, cooperation and legislation at the Ministry of Tourism, Handicraft and Social Economy in Morocco. Dr. Ajbilou is a statistician engineer and is a professor of higher education at the National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (INSEA) since 1985. From 2001 to 2006, Dr. Ajbilou was the director of the Centre of Studies and Demographic Research (CERED). He received a Ph.D. in demography from the Catholic University of Louvain - La Neuve in Belgium and has authored several scientific works on the topic of population and development. He is a member of the scientific committee of several publications at the national and international levels, a member the Association of the Moroccan Demographers (president from 1995-2000), of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population (UIESP), Union for African Population Studies (UEPA), and the Maghreben Association for the Studies of Population (AMEP).
