ERF 14th Annual Conference: Institutions and Economic Development

The Middle East Youth Initiative is hosting a panel at this year's annual Economic Research Forum (ERF) conference.

The event will be held in Cairo from 28th -30th December 2007. The theme of the plenary sessions will be “Institutions and Economic Development”. The parallel sessions will cover 5 themes: macroeconomics and finance, labor and human development, international economics, microeconomics and institutional economics. The conference is expected to host 250 participants, representing ERF and non-ERF affiliates, regional and international development institutions, policymakers and civil society. It will involve the presentation and discussion of 40 papers.

The Conference Agenda will include 3 plenary sessions and 5 parallel sessions.

  • The Plenary Sessions: Institutions and Economic Development
  • The Parallel Sessions will cover 5 themes: macroeconomics and finance, labor and human development, international economics, microeconomics and institutional economics
