9th Global Conference on International Youth Service

The International Association for National Youth Service (IANYS) is pleased to announce the 9th Global Conference on National Youth Service, organized in partnership with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the John D. Gerhart Center for Philanthropy & Civic Engagement at the American University in Cairo (AUC) and Innovations in Civic Participation (ICP), the IANYS permanent Secretariat.

The conference presents an exciting opportunity for professionals in the field of youth development to come together to share information and current developments in the field with other policymakers, practitioners, and researchers; nurture connections for developing future projects; and discuss the emerging impact of service in the context of youth employability and youth service policy among other important themes. Conference participants will include professionals in the field of youth civic engagement from across the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) region and around the world.

ICP is asking that past participants of the IANYS Global Conference share their experiences on the Ning Discussion Forum located here and that those interested in attending this year share their insights on what they look forward to gaining at the Conference.
