"Activating Youth Participation in Arab Development" Summit

The League of Arab States will convene a meeting with youth leaders, representatives of regional and international organizations, and experts on youth issues with the aims of:

• Issuing a document that expresses practical suggestions and recommendations to enhance youth participation in achieving comprehensive development. This document will be presented and disseminated during the Arab Developmental Summit 2009.

• Providing an opportunity for dialogue and consultations among Arab youth to express their own visions and directions which may enhance their participation in economic, social, and development projects and programs.
