UNESCO Youth Forum on "Investing Out of the Crisis" Hosts Tarik Yousef

On October 1, Tarik Yousef delivered remarks at the 6th UNESCO Youth Forum in Paris during the plenary session: "Investing out of the crisis: towards a partnership between UNESCO and youth organizations.”

The 6th UNESCO Youth Forum is taking place in Paris from 1 to 3 October 2009 as an integral part of the 35th UNESCO General Conference. It brings together young people from around the world to exchange on topical issues and identify common opportunities and challenges, leading to a final report which will be presented at the UNESCO General Conference.

Tarik Yousef's presentation drew from the Middle East Youth Initiative's latest report on the situation of young people in the region during the global economic downturn.
