Missed by the Boom, Hurt by the Bust: Making Markets Work for Young People in the Middle East

A new report by the Middle East Youth Initiative entitled "Missed by the Boom, Hurt by the Bust: Making Markets Work for Young People in the Middle East" cautions that the Middle East may face a new jobs crisis that will damage future prospects for the region's young people. The report is the first of its kind to assess the risks faced by young people in the Middle East during the global economic downturn and to offer early recommendations for policy makers to avert the worst of the crisis.
